    Description

    Veteran Service Assistant

    The Veteran Service Assistant will provide administrative and customer service support to veterans and their families. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping veterans and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports the provision of basic services to veterans.
    • Maintains communication with clinical staff for a therapeutic environment.
    • Assists with handling client mail.
    • Helps clients with move-in and move-out processes.
    • Prevents or resolves conflicts and reports incidents.
    • Manages supply inventory and storage.
    • Supports facility maintenance and readiness for inspections.
    • Assists with toxicology testing for sobriety.
    • Implements safety and emergency procedures.
    • Conducts room inspections for cleanliness and safety.
    • Handles administrative tasks and documentation.
    • Facilitates daily living activities for clients.
    • Adheres to work order procedures.
    • Assists with weekly cleaning of client rooms and common-use areas.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience working with veterans and their families.
