    Reporting to the Manager, Operational Resiliency, the Vendor Risk Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring Payments Canada is appropriately managing the risk that vendors pose to the organization.

    | Responsibilities of the Senior Vendor Risk Management Specialist include:
    Maintain and lead the implementation of the Vendor Risk Management Framework to ensure that vendor risk is consistently managed across Payments Canada;
    Provide oversight and challenge to ensure that vendor risks and mitigations are being effectively managed;
    Develop and maintain a broad range of risk-related policies, guidelines, and frameworks;
    Support development & implementation of industry reporting process for OSFI Guideline B-10 - Third-Party Risk Management;
    Keep abreast of vendor risk developments and provide advice & challenge to business units across the organization;
    Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization that support the Vendor Risk Management Framework (e.g. Procurement, Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Management, etc.);
    Demonstrate leadership skills on project teams as appropriate to provide risk management subject matter expertise.
    | Undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, or other related field;
    Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of recent experience in risk management with experience in vendor risk management;
    Minimum of five (5) years of relationship management experience;
    Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices;
    Flexible, hybrid (remote/office) environment;
