Description
Reporting to the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, your role will be to :Analyze and evaluate acquisition files, in collaboration with the company's various departments;
Understand the business sector and formulate the business model of target companies in order to identify their strategic value for Industrial Alliance;
Work with various experts (lawyers, tax specialists, accountants, partners and other parties to transactions) to bring acquisition opportunities to a successful conclusion;
Do you have the ability to get involved in several projects at the same time, and do you enjoy working with different collaborators? Are you curious, innovative and creative? Bachelor's degree in actuarial science and at least 8 to 10 years' relevant experience
Experience and expertise in financial analysis and modeling
Experience in mergers and acquisitions an asset
Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry under IFRS 17 an asset
Excellent French and English language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interaction with English and French-speaking partners across Canada.
