- Looking for a new and exciting job opportunity? We are looking for a Program Manager to join our Vehicle Programs team
What You Will Do: - You will be responsible to ensure assigned programs and relevant organizational goals are delivered on-time and within budget.
- You will ensure each program and its constituent projects follow the TTC's project management policies, standards, and procedures.
- You will also ensure each program and its constituent projects follow the relevant TTC's policies, standards, and procedures such as safety and accommodation.
- You will monitor and communicates program progress against the program plan, requirements, quality measures and milestones, and takes appropriate action to minimize the impact of deviations.
- You will ensure timely reporting of financial and performance results such as schedule, quality, safety, human resources, and other management issues to TTC and government officials as appropriate.
- You will aid the program sponsor in establishing effective program governance and drafts business case on behalf of the program sponsor.
- You will work with Corporate Communications to develop and deploy program level communications plan.
- You will exercise risk based contingency planning. Develops and implements contingency plans and manages risks for the program.
- You will also conduct project audits as required and manage programlevel suppliers.
- You will assess training needs of the team members and recommends appropriate training.

What Qualifications Do You Bring:
- Your education will consist of a completed University Degree, or College Diploma in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent, combined with progressive experience in the areas of general project management and engineering management of transit vehicles and/or large multidiscipline projects.
- Additionally, you must possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or similar professional certification, or be eligible to achieve certification.
- A certification as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario (PEO) is considered as an asset.
