Looking for a new and exciting job opportunity? We are looking for a Program Manager to join our Vehicle Programs team
What You Will Do:
You will be responsible to ensure assigned programs and relevant organizational goals are delivered on-time and within budget.
You will ensure each program and its constituent projects follow the TTC's project management policies, standards, and procedures.
You will also ensure each program and its constituent projects follow the relevant TTC's policies, standards, and procedures such as safety and accommodation.
You will monitor and communicates program progress against the program plan, requirements, quality measures and milestones, and takes appropriate action to minimize the impact of deviations.
You will ensure timely reporting of financial and performance results such as schedule, quality, safety, human resources, and other management issues to TTC and government officials as appropriate.
You will aid the program sponsor in establishing effective program governance and drafts business case on behalf of the program sponsor.
You will work with Corporate Communications to develop and deploy program level communications plan.
You will exercise risk based contingency planning. Develops and implements contingency plans and manages risks for the program.
You will also conduct project audits as required and manage programlevel suppliers.
You will assess training needs of the team members and recommends appropriate training.

What Qualifications Do You Bring:

Your education will consist of a completed University Degree, or College Diploma in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent, combined with progressive experience in the areas of general project management and engineering management of transit vehicles and/or large multidiscipline projects.
Additionally, you must possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or similar professional certification, or be eligible to achieve certification.
A certification as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario (PEO) is considered as an asset.
