Summary:


You are passionate, driven and have proven experience in Emergency Management Response & Planning and Physical Security or an equivalent field, including security or resiliency programs such as fire prevention, business continuity, incident management or risk management.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Emergency Management Response - You will be accountable for planning, preparedness and response and a variety of tasks and projects that are related to the discipline.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Acts as the first point of contact for high severity corporate emergencies and incident response primarily in Atlantic provinces. Will support colleagues in other regions of the country or abroad when required
  • Manage Be Ready Program deliverables for the Atlantic Region, including but not exclusively the following:
  • Recruit, train and support building emergency organizations
  • Plan and perform Annual Emergency Operational Procedure (EOP) review of locations within the Be Ready Program
  • Follow up and pursue reasonable measures to resolve all noncompliances, identified at time of inspection.
  • Plan and perform annual Fire drill at all applicable locations within Be Ready Program
  • Plans and performs various emergency procedures on company sites in the region for which you are responsible
  • Acts as a liaison and provides support to various multifunctional teams and Atlantic Regional/Provincial Emergency Organizations (OMUs). Be physically present when activating provincial emergency centres
  • Lead the development and delivery of various emergency management and physical security projects
  • Update program documentation including policies, directives, and procedures ensuring legal requirements and industry best practices are met
  • Assess, develop, improve, implement and maintain elements of the company's physical or security program to reduce risk, cost and liability, and protect Bell's brand.
  • Develop comprehensive physical or security plans for new infrastructure projects or to meet changing business needs.
  • Manage endtoend implementation projects (including all stages of development, design, installation and inspections) and oversee and manage the plan
  • Raise safety awareness and advise Bell employees.
  • Actively engage partners, conduct vulnerability assessments and site security measures to assess the effectiveness of controls, develop remediation strategies and make recommendations to adjust security program objectives

Required Educational Background and Experience:


  • Certificat ou diplôme postsecondaire en sécurité physique et expérience
  • 3 ans d'expérience en gestion des mesures d'urgences et d'incidents
  • Expérience en gestion de projets, notamment au sein d'équipes virtuelles
  • Aptitudes interpersonnelles extraordinaires et attitude professionnelle en situation de stress élevé ou de conflit.
  • Aptitude à établir les priorités et à travailler dans un milieu trépidant en constante évolution. Excellente gestion de son temps
  • Avoir une flexibilité d'horaire en temps d'incident

Critical Qualifications:


  • Ability to lead and coordinate with different levels of managers during incidents
  • Thorough knowledge of asset protection principles, crime prevention, physical security technologies and the implementation of electronic access control and monitoring systems
  • Experience developing threat and risk assessments and facility security controls.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Experience working in virtual teams

Preferred Qualifications:


  • CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional) or equivalent industry certification are considered a strong asset.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification are considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in large corporations or government agencies
  • Ability to understand complex dynamics of working with multiple stakeholders with divergent interests
