The Role:
Program Supervisor (Full-time)

The Supervisor provides program level leadership within a Group Care program. The Supervisor oversees and supervises the day-to-day operational aspects in Group Care.

As an integral member of the Group Care leadership team, the Supervisor ensures motivation and performance is maintained and in alignment with Group Care priorities as well as portfolio and organizational vision, values, and goals.

The Supervisor acts as a resource and coach to program staff, specifically relief, overnight, and practicum students through knowing and leveraging team member's strengths, development areas, and motivations, while fostering healthy team dynamics and workplace culture.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in the case management of each youth in the program ensuring compliance with CAC standards and that needs of each youth and family are being prioritized and monitored on an ongoing basis.
  • Complete ongoing audits of client files to ensure compliance to CAC standards and case management priorities are being executed.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement through leadership and modeling Trellis values.
  • Develop, supervise and retain relief and awake overnight staff to meet service delivery needs. Complete ongoing audits of Relief, Overnight, and Student personnel files to ensure compliance with employment expectations.
  • Actively contribute to healthy team dynamics while fostering an environment conducive to integrated service delivery
  • Act as an ambassador, representing our purpose, vision, values and desired outcomes in your daytoday work.
  • Develop and deliver clientcentered initiatives, programs, and activities that enhance community and Natural Support involvement.
  • Ongoing program orientation, training, and development of frontline staff
  • Provide support to ensure various frameworks and models (Natural Supports, Trauma-Informed Care, Circle of Courage, Caregiver Support Model) are incorporated into the programing and case management practices in the program.
  • Write and/or edit Reportable Incident Reports, AWOL's, Service Plans, and Progress reports.
  • Interview, supervise, schedule, and orient Practicum Students
  • Provide support and insight to the Leadership Team to ensure service delivery implementation align with contract requirements, portfolio scope of practice and organizational purpose, vision, and values.
