Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a driven and dynamic Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our HSE, QA, and Training Team in Calgary, Alberta.

The QA Supervisor oversees the successful implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems at Frontec Head Offices as well as supporting project sites in their QMS implementations and improvements.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and provide solutions for improving Frontec Business Processes and the overall Quality Management System
Identify and eliminate gaps and improvement opportunities in current state systems
Work closely with Frontec's project team to train, educate, and support them in their daytoday business or during project mobilization.
Conduct periodic assessments/audits in alignment with the QMS requirements
Development and review curriculum ensure accountability of managers to training program
Provide weekly activity reports detailing progress on projects and milestones towards projects deliverables
Ensure full transparency and communication to the HSE, QA, and Training Manger of any nonconformities identified
Conduct regular risk assessments to plan how targets will be met
Execute strategic plan and keep HSEQT Manager and stakeholders informed of progress and adjustments needed
Oversee maintenance and implementation of Quality Management System at Head Offices and Sites as required by contract
Maintain Document Control Systems as specified by policy and procedure requirements
Analyze effectiveness of QMS to further drive Continuous Improvement
Assess needs and training requirements considering risk, investment, and competency requirements for Quality team and assist Training Department in identifying needs for upskilling and filling identified gaps related to success of processes
Advise Frontec on various products and services available to keep up with industry trends and technology

Qualifications and Skills:

Creative with excellent ability to communicate benefits of a process and riskbased approach to developing business procedures
Selfmotivated with ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Ability to travel to project sites as required frequently.
Capability to train, mentor, coach and guide performance

years' QA experience including front end process implementation
years' leadership experience

QMS Representative experience desired
Four (4) year Bachelor's degree, preferably Industrial engineering or Quality Assurance.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification or proven track record of implementing ISO 9001 Certification
ISO 14001 Implementation and Maintenance experience preferred
Experience with MS software and other related software, including Visio or other process mapping software
Can work independently with limited direction; utilize latitude in an educated approach in determining objectives and approaches to assignments in reaching goals
Organizational, time management, and report writing skills a necessity
Visionary leader with proven management, communication, and analytical skills
Strong problemsolving skills, business acumen, and proven leadership
