    Description
    Our client is in the commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing industry. They are looking for a full-time Senior Estimator to join their team based in Brampton, Ontario.
    In this role, the Senior Estimator will be responsible for:
    # Monitoring bidding opportunities and identifying potential projects of interest.
    # Assessing the technical aspects of potential projects and preparing initial cost estimates.
    # Preparing costing for ongoing project changes.
    # Following up with on-site issues with operations team.
    # Attending site meetings as required.
    # Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing projects.
    # Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.
    # Researching and recommending cost-effective materials, methods, and techniques for roofing projects.
    # Evaluating subcontractor bids and negotiating pricing and terms as needed.
    # Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and regulations related to roofing materials and construction.
    # Assisting in developing project schedules and budgets based on estimated costs.
    # Providing ongoing support and guidance to project teams during the estimation and bidding process.
    # Reviewing and analyzing project proposals, contracts, and change orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

    Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and estimating or comparable level in the commercial/institutional construction industry.
    Thorough knowledge of Commercial Roofing is considered an asset.
    CCDC) and building codes.
    Bilingualism is considered an asset.
