    Description
    Mechanical Designer
    itec group has partnered with a Niagara region client that is actively in the market for Mechanical Designers

    Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
    • The successful incumbent will be tasked with assisting junior mechanical staff members and builders to design machines and other projects as needed.
    • This is a great opportunity to work for a company that provides a competitive salary and benefits while placing emphasis on improving practical skills to prepare for future career opportunities.
    Mandatory Requirements:
    • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline
    • 5 + years of experience in Mechanical Design
    • Strong knowledge of SolidWorks
    • Knowledge of automated machinery and manufacturing design
    Preferred Requirements:
    • 3+ years of Sheetmetal design
    • Collaborate and communicate with project managers
