Summary:

Role and Responsibilities:

Repair, assembly, testing, and calibration on a variety of valve and actuation products
Provide detailed service reports on product
Provide product telephone support for internal and external customers
Provide support to other production areas in the shop as needed
Operate both the fork lift and crane
Participate in overtime/weekend work as required to meet customers' demands
Maintain a safe work environment and actively participate in Spartan's safety culture
Possible field work if required
Work proficiently in Spartans SAP computer system
Able to work applicable shifts during spring and fall outages
Able to selflearn through online courses and training

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma from a 2year Instrumentation Technology program, Journeyman / Journeywoman / Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician, or Instrumentation Apprentice
Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
Excellent work ethic
Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset
Adaptability to provide support to different areas as required
Outstanding commitment to customer service
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Ability to work individually as well as in a team
Strong problemsolving ability
Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Entrepreneurial understanding
Valid Alberta driver's license and willing to travel, if required
