Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Process incoming stock orders in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Contact customers for clarification on stock order requests.
  • Confirm all stock orders and communicate discrepancies and/or out of stock situations to customers.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal departments to process stock orders.
  • Ensure stock orders ship in accordance to requested date(s).
  • Maintain speed release forms for customers who purchase stock items.
  • Maintain generic stock templates for each of the price lists for use during order processing.
  • Maintain Sales Order numbering series and drop shipment address list for the department.
  • Generate and distribute the Gross Margin, Open Order Log, and Inventory Terms reports to the Sales Coordinators as per the daily schedule.
  • Maintain department customer files.
  • Maintain department art files.
  • Generate and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual history reports to the Sales Coordinators and Regional Managers.
  • Ensure credit and debit notes received from Sales Coordinators are prepared, entered into the system and authorized.
  • Distribute credit and debit invoices to the Sales Coordinators.
  • Assist in the linking and unlinking of MO Comments in the computer system to the lower level and finished good items for use by Manufacturing.
  • Complete the TBD process of obsolete/replaced items in Movex received from the Sales Coordinators.
  • Download and forward EDI system PO's to applicable Coordinators and archive SPS Commerce PO's.
  • Package correspondence and samples for furtherance to Customers and Sales Representatives.
  • Participate in the achievement of department goals.
  • Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company. Interact with all levels of the operation in support of Winpak's continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Office and 5S in the Workplace.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner compliant with ISO 9001 and SQF standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in data entry and Word and Excel for Windows
  • Must be motivated and a selfstarter in order to organize workload.
  • Must be able to retain information and processes.
  • Able to work under mínimal supervision, within strict deadlines and promote a high standard of workmanship.
  • Good interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
