    Description

    Location:
    Halifax, Nova Scotia. (We're seeking a talented and seasoned Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at our Atlantic business unit in Halifax NS.

    You'll work across the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with designers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

    o Develop middle-tier business logic, architecture, and APIs using Python and robust web frameworks like Django, Flask, or Fast API.

    o Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components.
    o Perform software design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.


    • o Work on complex problems with broad impact, requiring in-depth analysis and judgment.
    o Implement features across the entire technology stack, from UI to database.
    Experience designing and maintaining highly scalable and performant web applications using Angular.


    • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Python and robust web frameworks like Django, Flask, or Fast API.
    • Interact heavily with relational and analytical databases to retrieve or persist data.
    • Solid understanding of database design principles and writing efficient complex SQL queries to retrieve data.
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for testing and deployment of front end angular and backend Python applications on AWS infrastructure.
    • Implement automated testing solutions using Pytest or similar framework.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams(Product owners, Architects, Tech Leads, fellow engineers, data modelers, stake holders) to deliver high-quality software.
