    Job Overview:

    We are looking for a talented software engineer to join the Franchisee Technology team to manage employee and restaurant data across our iconic brands and develop core applications utilized by restaurants around the world.

    Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with other software engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders about business and project requirements
  • Write clean, testable code in JavaScript
  • Integrate with vendor APIs
  • Create, retrieve, and update data using MySQL
  • Analyze and optimize queries written in MySQL
  • Deploy code to AWS using CircleCI
  • Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, implement solutions, and improve system performance
  • Write multiple forms of testing, including in unit, integration, and end-to-end
  • Create best-in-class software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities and needs
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest and emergent technologies

    • Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with NodeJS, React, MySQL, GitHub, and AWS
  • Experience integrating applications with external APIs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with TypeScript, Okta, CircleCI, Terraform, Redis, and Docker
  • Portfolio of personal projects
  • Open source contributions
