Duties:

Complete administrative functions related to Residence
Assist and advise students, assist nonstudents/guests
Collaborate with Ancillary Services regarding Residence matters, including reporting room damage
Assist with community management and emergency evacuation planning
Assist with residence programming and team development for students
Work with mínimal to no direct supervision
Working hours include day, evening or weekend shifts, as needed

and other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Demonstrated good study habits
Strong time management skills, problemsolving and organizational skills
Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills with a sound understanding of the university student experience
Ability to be compassionate and supportive through challenges students encounter that may impact success
Ability to use sound judgment, taking initiative and being creative
Must be a fulltime Brandon University student in good academic standing, with a

minimum GPA of 2.5 in the term prior to being selected as a Residence Assistant

Minimum of 4 months of postsecondary studies
Previous leadership experience is a strong asset
Previous experience as a Residence Assistant is highly desirable

It is a requirement of this position to live in Brandon University Residence to fulfill the duties of the role.
