- Help define the scope of projects and proposals.
- Allocate tasks to technicians and drafters assigned to the project, review their work and assess the technical scope.
- Be involved in commissioning.
- Help prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (P&IDs, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details).
- Help program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCSs) and human-machine interfaces.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- From 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in automation, instrumentation and control
- Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)
- Experience in pre-operational verifications (POVs) and commissioning
- Asset: Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
