    Description

    THE POSITION

    As a member of the team, you will be reporting to the Lead Planning Coordinator and will be responsible for managing production scheduling and input assets for Tanks. Your role is crucial in supporting the production schedules of the Tank plants and meeting our customer demands.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborating with key stakeholders to plan and schedule production, ensuring customer tank requirements are met and optimum inventory levels are maintained.
    • Creating, updating, and managing the production schedule based on forecasts, backlog, and inventory levels.
    • Identifying risks related to sales forecasts and raw material availability that could impact the Master Production Schedule.
    • Releasing and updating shop orders in IFS, monitoring capacity constraints, and addressing any scheduling issues.
    • Planning and scheduling workflow for manufacturing departments according to capacity constraints.
    • Ensuring target production dates are met and prioritizing shop orders based on requirements.
    • Designing and generating reports to support inventory and scheduling decisions.
    • Performing additional duties as needed to contribute to the success of the business unit.
    • Building credibility with colleagues and influencing them effectively.
    • Attention to detail is a key attribute for this role.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets is essential.
    • Knowledge of IFS/ERP systems is advantageous.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning.
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
    • Experience with ERP systems is a bonus.
