    About the role

    We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team and help us grow our business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving conversations with prospective merchants using lead lists. Your primary goal will be to sign up customers over the phone, leveraging your exceptional communication skills and ability to think on your feet. To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated and proactive, as well as have a strong follow-up and automation mindset.     Your day to day

    Supported by a strong Inbound marketing team, your call list is updated so you can get to work; there's no prospecting required to find who to call, so you can:

    • Utilize inbound lead lists to drive conversations with prospective merchants
    • Convert and close leads into customers over the phone
    • Meet or exceed target for amount of outreach on a sprint and cycle basis
    • Follow up with leads and leverage automation to improve efficiency
    • Think on your feet and proactively identify opportunities to improve the sales process
    • Close each day with no tasks left open, and no lead left behind

    About you

    • You are a highly motivated individual who understands the nuances of outbound sales
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills and understand the importance of maintaining client relationships
    • You naturally take initiative and are ridiculously organized, resourceful, can multi-task, and prioritize
    • You're a friendly, self-motivated, and resilient individual who can work independently and as part of a team
    • You are excited to learn in-depth about the mining and infrastructure space and the unique challenges our customers face

    • Former experience working within HubSpot is an asset, but not required
