The Role

Your Impact

Cultivates a positive and inclusive work environment by coaching managers and employees on policy interpretation, issue resolution, and clarification of employment standards.
Assists with the execution of Performance Management processes, including coaching staff, tracking data, and identifying areas for improvement.
Supports the recruitment process, aiding with resource planning, position requirement gathering, and drafting of job descriptions.
Participates in interviews when necessary, helping to develop best practices for managers to hire top talent.
Contributes to budget planning, compensation review, and HR trend research, providing valuable data analysis as required.
Assists with payroll and compensation administration, ensuring fair and accurate disbursement.
Provides administrative support to the HR Director, including documentation, report generation, etc.
Actively involved in multiple Human Resources projects, ensuring their successful execution.
Adheres to and promotes the JVF GMP policies, demonstrating a commitment to overall organizational excellence.
Participates in crossdepartmental collaboration, assisting in the maintenance of safety standards and legislative compliance across the organization.

Schedule and Location
Monday to Friday, full time permanent position. This role will be onsite and will be based out of our corporate office at 250 Rimrock Road, North York

About You

Communication Expert: You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate, influence, and liaise with all levels of the organization.

HR Savvy: You bring in-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, using this expertise to guide strategic and operational decision-making. (3-5 years experience as HR Generalist)

Analytical Thinker: You have a strong analytical ability, comfortable working with data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and inform HR strategy.

Problem-Solver: You demonstrate problem-solving and conflict management skills, adept at navigating sensitive situations and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Organized & Adaptable: You excel in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
