Project Location:
Bagotville, Quebec


Employment:
This position is approximately a 3 year term with potential for extension and/ or permanent employment.


Your New Role
The Project Administrator is responsible for supporting the estimating, project management, and site project execution functions.

The Project Administrator will perform all administrative duties required to complete all aspects of the project lifecycle from inception to contract completion, including contract administration.


Your Duties
While the Project Administrator is responsible for a multitude of duties, the main functions include:

  • Ensures compliance with all Sullivan policies and procedures.
  • Prepares, processes and documents project communications as required.
  • Manages project documentation.
  • Types documents including memos, letters, etc. as required.
  • Maintains stationery, office supplies, food, beverages, and all consumables.
  • Updates, distributes, files and maintains meeting minutes.
  • Handles all incoming and outgoing courier. Supports the finance department by gathering, managing, and reporting specific project expenses and may be required to aid in the development and submission of monthly progress draws/invoices.
  • Support Project Coordinator, Project Manager or Superintendent when needed.
  • May be asked to assist with administrative required by other project team members (ie: safety, QA/QC etc.)
  • Perform other duties as required to support the project and the project team.

Safety

  • Adheres to all safety procedures and regulatory compliance
  • Communicates and enforces safety standards in conjunction with the Construction Health & Safety Officer

Quality

  • Adheres to all processes and procedures in the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensures the quality of product produced reflects the QMS and The Sullivan Way

What you will need to succeed

  • 23 years of experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or similar role, preferably in the construction industry, is an asset.
  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, o0r a related field is an asset
  • Knowledge of project management software is an asset (e.g., Adobe
  • Proficient in excel, word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Bilingual (French and English both in verbal and written is required)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Reliable level Government clearance

Votre nouveau rôle


Relevant du chef de projet senior, l'assistant(e) administratif(ve) est chargé de soutenir les fonctions d'estimation, de gestion de projet et d'exécution de projet.

L'assistant(e) administratif(ve) de projet effectuera toutes les tâches administratives nécessaires pour mener à bien tous les aspects du projet, du début à la fin, y compris l'administration du contrat.


Responsabilités et activités principales

  • Veiller au respect de toutes les politiques et procédures de Sullivan;
  • Préparer, traiter et documenter les communications relatives aux projets, lorsque requis;
  • Gérer la documentation liée au projet;
  • Rédiger des documents, y compris des communications internes au projet, des lettres, etc., selon les besoins;
  • Maintenir l'inventaire de la papeterie, les fournitures de bureau, la nourriture, les boissons et tous autres consommables;
