    Description
    Industrial Mechanic Millwright
    90 per hour + Shift premium
    Manufacturing / Food / Retail
    Full Time / Permanent
    Shift
    4 day / 10 Hour Shifts

    Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components utilized in the company and packaging departments, such as flow wrappers and metal detectors.

    # Familiarity with various shop tools, including milling machines, lathes, grinders, drilling machines, and welding equipment.
    # Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, along with efficient equipment setup.
    # Conducting all maintenance activities on plant equipment safely, ensuring cleanliness and optimal functionality, and adhering to GMP standards.
    # Conduct enhancements to equipment/systems, explore and evaluate new equipment, maintain comprehensive maintenance records, and ensure accessibility of all relevant information.
    # Responsible for both corrective and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment.
    # Implementing equipment/system improvements, researching, and testing new equipment, and maintaining maintenance records.
    # 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical work, encompassing setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting. Preferred possession of a valid Industrial skilled trades license (Millwright) from Ontario or any Canadian province, although not mandatory. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good mechanical aptitude. Able to report to a 4 day / 10-hour shift.
