    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A)

    Location: Toronto, Ontario

    Position Overview:

    Our client, a leading food manufacturing company located in the Toronto area, specializing in high-speed packaging equipment is looking to grow their maintenance department.

    We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) with a valid 433A license to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and possess 3-10 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on high-speed packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance to prolong the lifespan of equipment and prevent potential breakdowns.
    • Collaborate with production team members to address maintenance concerns and prioritize tasks based on production schedules.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license.
    • 3-10 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including day shift, and occasional weekends as needed.
    • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
