    Job Description

    The Industrial Mechanic will repair and maintain plant equipment and facilities by working from specifications such as blueprints, sketches, and verbal descriptions.

    Requirements

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Successfully completed a mechanical apprentice training course and have a journeyman/woman license
  • Have a Certificate of Qualification and a Certificate of Apprenticeship
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Pneumatics experience
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Possess good fabrication and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willing to work in any of the three shifts in a unionized environment
  • Able to multi-task
  • Previous High Pressure Die Cast experience
