About this opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, Wholesale, Branded Dealer and Bulk Plants, the Bulk Sales Advisor supports Cenovus' Bulk Plant network. In this role, you will be the primary link between the Dealer and Cenovus. You will be responsible for the business relationship, the fuel volume and overall profitability the Bulk Plant network.

You will be responsible for managing the execution of the Bulk Plant Business Model, Supply and Nominations, commercial terms including product pricing and rent, expansion, and development of the bulk portfolio.

This position will be located in Calgary, AB

Responsibilities:


  • Developing strong and credible relationships that enable strong partnerships but also allow for direct and sometimes opposing views.
  • Enhancing and maintaining a Bulk Plant Business model, including the development of sustainable process flows to support the model
  • Regularly analyzing site financial, volumetric reports and recommending improvements or identifying emerging trends.
  • Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to forecast utilizing trending data
  • Bulk Plant pricing model management, ensuring Bulk Dealers are competitive in the marketplace while maximizing Cenovus earnings
  • Maximize Cenovus equity production throughput at the Bulk Plants
  • Dealer supply management
  • Monthly volume nominations by terminal
  • Managing internal leads that flow through the bulk plant channel from a sales perspective, including RFP's
  • Work with other Retail stakeholder groups to grow and develop the Bulk Plant network
  • Ongoing contract management
  • Continuous improvement that focuses on simplifying processes and reducing complexity of the operating model

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
  • At minimum five years' experience leading in the commercial diesel/commodities industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively identify, develop and qualify business opportunities
  • Proven business, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
