    Kap Paper Inc. is looking for a Production Supervisor to provide direction and supervision to all members of the Paper Mill, Finishing Room and Thermo – Mechanical Pulp Mill on shift.

    Responsibilities:


    • Ensure the achievement of the shift newsmill production budgets and that all customer specifications, safety and environmental requirements are met at all times.


    • Coordinate all mill site shift crews, including directing the shift maintenance trades and Boiler House Shift Engineer, on all aspects related to the newsmill manufacturing process including safety, environmental and security issues.


    • Manage all shift members of the Paper Mill, Finishing and TMP to meet production budgets at minimum cost while fully meeting customer specifications and all applicable safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.


    • Provide shift supervision and coaching to all operating crews to ensure the application of effective and best work practices.


    • Monitor performance of assigned shift employees to ensure they are able to achieve expectations.


    • Provide and apply progressive discipline as related to performance management issues.


    • Ensure that operating practices support the optimization of cost, productivity, quality, and environmental objectives.


    • Coordinate and investigate Newsmilll shift activities/issues to ensure timely and effective resolution to on-shift manning, process issues, equipment reliability, safety, and environmental issues.


    • Provide detailed and precise shift documentation/report on issues to appropriate operation area superintendents.


    • Identify, develop and execute training plan for manpower development while meeting allocated budget.


    • Ensure employees within areas of supervision are signed-off and competent prior to promotion to new level within the line-of-progression.


    • Ensure manning of Newsmill shift crews as per company policies and guidelines, including the hiring and termination of employees when required.


    • Advise and/or recommend changes or opportunities that will contribute to optimizing the short and long-term growth objectives of the site, to the Paper Mill Superintendent.


    • Support and assist any other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:


    • Good level of maturity, interpersonal and communication skills,


    • Demonstrated leadership in communication and employee performance management.


    • Proficient process and technical skill sets.

    GreenFirst est à la recherche d'un(e) superviseur(euse) de la production qui sera chargé(e) de diriger et de superviser tous les membres de l'usine de papier, de la salle de finition et de l'usine de pâte thermomécanique pendant le quart de travail.

    Responsabilités:


    • Veiller à la réalisation des budgets de production des opérations de papeterie et s'assurer que toutes les spécifications du client et les exigences en matière de sécurité et d'environnement sont respectées à tout moment.


    • Coordonner toutes les équipes de quart du site de l'usine, y compris diriger les métiers d'entretien de quart et l'ingénieur de quart de la chaufferie, sur tous les aspects liés au processus de fabrication, y compris les questions de sécurité, d'environnement et de sûreté.


    • Gérer tous les membres des équipes de l'usine à papier, de la finition et de la PTM afin de respecter les budgets de production à un coût minimal tout en satisfaisant pleinement aux spécifications du client et à toutes les directives et réglementations applicables en matière de sécurité et d'environnement.


    • Superviser et encadrer toutes les équipes d'exploitation afin de garantir l'application de pratiques de travail efficaces et optimales.


    • Contrôler les performances des employés affectés à une équipe afin de s'assurer qu'ils sont en mesure de répondre aux attentes.


    • Prendre et appliquer des mesures disciplinaires progressives en cas de problèmes liés à la gestion des performances.


    • Veiller à ce que les pratiques opérationnelles contribuent à l'optimisation des coûts, de la productivité, de la qualité et des objectifs environnementaux.


    • Coordonner et examiner les activités/problèmes de l'opérations de papeterie afin d'assurer une résolution rapide et efficace des problèmes d'effectifs, de processus, de fiabilité des équipements, de sécurité et d'environnement.


    • Fournir des documents/rapports détaillés et précis sur les problèmes de l'équipe aux surintendants de la zone d'exploitation concernée.


    • Identifier, développer et exécuter un plan de formation pour le développement de la main-d'œuvre tout en respectant le budget alloué.


    • S'assurer que les employés dans les domaines de supervision sont approuvés et compétents avant d'être promus à un nouveau niveau dans la ligne de progression.


    • Assurer la dotation en personnel des équipes conformément aux politiques et lignes directrices de l'entreprise, y compris l'embauche et le licenciement d'employés, le cas échéant.


    • Conseiller et/ou recommander des changements ou des opportunités qui contribueront à optimiser les objectifs de croissance à court et à long terme du site, au surintendant de l'opérations de papeterie.


    • Apporter son soutien et son aide à toute autre tâche qui pourrait être assignée.

    • Leadership avéré en matière de communication et de gestion des performances des employés.
