    People Operations Generalist - Calgary, Canada - Neo Financial

    We are currently seeking a People Operations Generalist to handle the entire employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between. In this role, you will address people-related queries from employees, leaders, and the Talent Management team. Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering data for formal reports and presentations.

    What will be your main tasks:

    • Offer comprehensive support throughout the employee lifecycle, including handling onboarding, job transitions, leaves, and offboarding in our HRIS system.
    • Provide robust assistance to employees by addressing inquiries through our People ticketing system, covering topics such as immigration, relocation, employment documentation, and benefits.
    • Maintain and update data in our HRIS and other platforms meticulously to ensure high accuracy levels. This involves updating employee titles, compensation details, reporting structures, and more in our HRIS.
    • Generate reports, compile metrics, and create dashboards.
    • Assist the People team in special projects to promote a high-performance culture and facilitate change management initiatives.
    • Cultivate a mindset of continuous improvement to ensure the efficient and consistent operation of our People programs and systems.

    What we're searching for:

    • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in roles such as Coordinator, Analyst, Generalist, or equivalent.
    • Preferably, a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
    • Experience with various HRIS platforms would be advantageous.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, results-oriented, and a proactive attitude.
    • Outstanding communication and support abilities, with a talent for quickly building positive relationships across all teams.
