- Conduct mechanical and preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Prepare and update preventative maintenance program.
- Participate in water treatment programs involving high pressure steam equipment.
- Work effectively in a feed manufacturing environment with emphasis and compliance to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Optimize safety and reliability of machines and equipment by following and complying with appropriate precautions to prevent risk to employees and to the product.
- Complete and update maintenance reports as per company and regulatory standards.
- Perform maintenance post clean up and maintain high standard of sanitation and housekeeping in the production area and maintenance shop.
- Proactively forecast Parts needs/requirements and order accordingly.
- 1+ years of experience in a maintenance position, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Some experience in electrical and/or pneumatic equipment is required.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, which would include every second weekend.
- On call availability for emergency repairs during evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of feed manufacturing and processing equipment.

Your Role
As Maintenance Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing a preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting, and identifying problematic equipment and developing solutions to repair plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machinery and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency and minimizing downtime of the feed mill operations.
