    Description

    Revive Law is a family law practice founded by Camila Motta, a lawyer with experience in family law and estate planning.

    Revive Law focuses on providing child-centered and empathetic legal services that preserve relationships while advocating for clients' interests.

    This is a full-time remote role for a Lawyer at Revive Law. The Lawyer will be responsible for handling family law cases, including divorce, parenting, property, and support disputes. The Lawyer may also handle estate planning, including preparing wills and powers of attorney. The day-to-day tasks may include client consultations, legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.

    Some knowledge of family law in Ontario is a requirement, even if limited to law school courses
    Special interest in family law is a must
    Experience in family law and estate planning is ideal but not a requirement. Training and mentorship will be provided as needed.
    Comfortable with technology use as the practice is fully remote
    Excellent legal research and writing abilities
    Ontario license to practice law
    Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
    Personal experience in family law is a plus
