OVERVIEW:

Circular Materials is seeking a
Business Analyst, Web and Apps to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation of our technical and operational projects.

As a Business Analyst, you will be assigned to cross-functional projects and act as a vital link between business stakeholders and our technical implementation team, ensuring the successful alignment of our initiatives with organizational goals.

Your keen business skills, extensive data analysis expertise, ability to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into actionable outcomes will be crucial in delivering robust and user-friendly web & mobile solutions and experiences.

Reporting to a Product Manager in the Data Management & Program Delivery department, as a data-focused
Business Analyst, Web and Apps you will play a key role in the success of our enterprise strategies, ensuring the success of our digital expansion across web & mobile product offerings, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to collect detailed information on user requirements and workflows.
Collaborate with Data Management & Governance specialists to ensure the timely delivery of datafocused initiatives.
Analyze business processes and data workflows, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, user stories, data flow diagrams, and data mapping, ensuring clear communication between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, translating datarelated business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value, ensuring a focus on critical features and functionalities.
Analyze data structures and collaborate with data analysts for accurate data migration and management.
Work on data migration strategies and processes to transition data to new data management tools and solutions.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of processes, experiences and capabilities by providing insights and recommendations based on user feedback.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- +3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis roles, or similar.

Professional business certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PBA) are an asset.
Experience implementing Web & Mobile products & solutions (internal or external) are essential and strongly preferred.

Skills:

Proficient in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
Experience with data analysis, mapping, and migration processes.
Familiarity with Business Warehouse implementations and data warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of business process optimization and workflow analysis.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Detailoriented with an interest in data.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fastpaced and evolving project environment.
Knowledge of project management tools such as Monday, Asana, or Jira, is an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a remote position with a flexible work schedule and periods of uneven workflow. May require periods of extended working hours to meet deadlines during peak business cycle.
The incumbent can adapt in a dynamic environment and has tolerance for change as Circular Materials implements its new program obligations.
