Description
Project control - execute and deliver projects safely, on time and within budget and scope- Project coordination and equipment mobilization
- Resource coordination (not inclusive of onboarding)
- Review, track, and manage the budget for assigned projects
- Estimating
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Coordinate internal resources and 3rd parties/vendors for successful project execution
- Track and analyze performance, expenditures and procurement
- Work with Resource Coordinator on resource planning, availability, and allocation
- Communicate with management changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
- Track project performance, cost performance, schedule, and report to the management on changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Provide Project Change Notices (PCN's) or Project Change Orders (PCO's) to clients where applicable.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Assist and perform quality assurance as required
- Close project and documentation, pass project deliverables to operations
- Assist in the mobilization / demobilization of tooling and equipment.
- Paperwork and electronic information to be handled per department standards.
This will include, but not be limited to:
placing electronic copies in SharePoint job file, and communicate to site personnel as required, and distribution to all necessary people
- Additional interaction with clients for all elements of project (costing, schedule, logistics, communications etc.)
- Other duties include filling out AFS job info forms, filling in spreadsheets set up to handle jobs and estimates, etc.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- The ability to oversee and collaborate with team members in a fastpaced environment
- Proficient in use of MS Project or similar software
- Medium level exposure to relevant codes (ASME, TEMA, API)
- Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
- Proven working experience as a project coordinator in a maintenance or manufacturing company
- Moderate equipment and tool knowledge
- Attend project meetings, production meetings and preaward meetings with clients as required or designate Project Coordinator to attend
Education/Certification and Experience:
- Applicable post secondary education at a technical institution, mechanical trade ticket with a minimum of 2 years of experience or Project Coordinating experience.
- Previous trade experience is a strong asset

$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
