Local Business Discovery Web/Mobile Application
The objective is to build a web-based application that acts as a digital yellow pages for locally operating small businesses.
The system is designed to be simple, fast, and scalable, supporting both business visibility and easy user discovery.
Phase 1 – Web Application (Primary Focus)
We will first build a fully functional web-based application that works seamlessly on desktop and mobile browsers.
Scope (Web App):
- Digital yellow-pages–style platform for local businesses
- Business listing with categories and search
- Google Maps integration with pinned businesses
- Business detail pages (contact info, address, map)
- WhatsApp contact/authentication support
- Admin panel to add, edit, and manage businesses
- Firebase backend (DB, auth, hosting)
Outcome:
A production-ready platform that can be launched quickly and validated with real users.
Phase 2 – Mobile Applications (iOS & Android)
Once the web app is stable and validated, we extend it into native mobile apps.
Mobile App Scope:
- Same core features as the web app
- Optimized mobile UI/UX
- Faster performance and smoother navigation
- App Store & Play Store deployment
- Admin Panel
Admin Capabilities:
- Admin login (secure authentication)
Add new businesses with:

◦ Address & location (map pin)
◦ Contact number
◦ WhatsApp number (for authentication/contact)
- View and manage existing business listings
- Edit or deactivate businesses when required

- No payments or user login required (unless added later)

- User contacts the business via phone, email, or WhatsApp
