    Description

    We are looking for a Staff/Lead Machine Learning Engineer who is ready to hit the ground running and work on a lot of innovative and exciting projects related to study and learning tools.

    You will be a part of the Study Solutions pod in the Study Experiences team at Course Hero and collaborate cross-functionally to ship products that personalize learning experiences for students.

    You'll be a technical leader who provides mentorship to team members, drives execution on key projects and participates in the improvement of our software systems.

    Be a self motivated, bold thinker, innovator and builder of innovative ML algorithms and embrace full stack data science.
    Design and develop machine learning techniques to precisely identify questions and provide accurate and contextually relevant answers.

    Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners and UX designers to conceptualize, execute, and deliver compelling and personalized intelligent study experiences.

    You'll help engineers from other teams to understand and learn about machine learning and help Course Hero be a data driven company.

    Are you our Staff/Lead Machine Learning Engineer?
    ~8+ years of relevant experience in building Machine Learning algorithms and systems, preferably with a focus on natural language processing, computational linguistics, and question-answering.
    ~4+ years of solid programming experience in Python or Scala.

    PhD or Master's degree in an applicable field like Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a similar field, or equivalent experience working on complex & large size ML projects.
