HR TECHNICIAN

YOUR ROLE AS AN HR TECHNICIAN:

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of health, disability, and CNESST files.

This multifaceted position also entails providing invaluable support to the Human Resources Department in overseeing group insurance matters and executing various administrative duties with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the coordination and modifications of employee files
• Coordinate the year of service recognition program
• Write and post communication
• Support the HR team with the KPI
• Coordinate changes of status, salary and personal information in the HRIS (Dayforce)
• Take care of closing employee files when they leave and coordinate the exit interview with our external partner
• Coordinate transport subscriptions and follow up with external suppliers
• Support the other members of the department during major changes in personnel (massive hiring or layoff)
• Follow up on CNESST and disability files
• Participate in accident investigations
• Coordinate employee enrolment in group insurance plans and RRSPs
• Provide advice to employees regarding HR services (group insurance, group RRSPs, health support services (PAE, Teladoc, etc.), social activities, job openings, etc.)
• Take charge of certain administrative tasks for the human resources department

Qualifications

• DEC or AEC in office automation, administration or other equivalent training in a related discipline
• 2 years of experience in human resources and disability file management (CNESST)
• Good knowledge of IT and the Microsoft suite
• Knowledge and experience with the DayForce HRIS (an asset)
• Oral and written bilingualism (French and English)
