    Position Title: Maintenance Scheduler

    Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

    Position Location: Carberry

    Grade: Grade 04

    We are looking to hire a Maintenance Scheduler for our facility in Carberry, Manitoba. This role requires someone with strong maintenance and communication skills to effectively schedule all resources for maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

    Overview:

    The Maintenance Scheduler plays a crucial role in managing work priorities, developing job plans, defining parts and materials, engaging resources, and creating efficient work control plans. Additionally, they provide technical guidance on improving maintenance activities and equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research, prioritize, schedule, and oversee maintenance work execution.
    • Create and distribute weekly maintenance schedules in collaboration with Planners and supervisors.
    • Track craft backlog and recommend resource adjustments.
    • Use SAP to develop daily work schedules for preventative and corrective maintenance.
    • Schedule maintenance activities with a forward-looking approach.
    • Provide labor estimates and conduct regular review meetings for work status.
    • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
    • Assist in developing maintenance strategies and processes.
    • Maintain CMMS arrangement and collaborate with Maintenance leadership and Production teams.
    • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all standards and policies.
    • Lead or participate in investigations as needed.
    • Work closely with maintenance personnel to ensure quality and safety.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or related field
    • Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software
    • Strong problem-solving skills and discretion in handling sensitive information
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
    • Prior manufacturing experience and plant operations knowledge required
