Primary Responsibilities:

This position is a 12 month contract hybrid opportunity located at our Surrey, BC office.
The primary responsibility for this position is to provide the Sales team (Sr. Retail Development Managers, Retail Development Supervisors) as well as Territory Managers with completion of day-to-day tasks and projects, research and administrative assistance. Liaise with Finance, Logistic, Customer Service and/or I.T. departments for system and/or process resolution.

Essential Functions:

  • Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food).
  • Work with Retail Development Manager, Customer Development Managers and Territory Managers to prepare key account plans in a timely fashion and ensure changing business or account needs are adapted into the plans.
  • Work with Territory Manager(s) to ensure new or established product presentations and marketingdriven promotions are communicated and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of account specific presentations, item maintenance forms and promotional forms.
  • Compile spreadsheets utilizing information/statistics retrieved from AS400, Cognos and iCalibre.
  • Prepare promotional recaps and field level demo summaries.
  • Preparation and distribution of sales correspondence, reports etc. including Cognos.
  • Coordination of sales meetings, agendas as required.
  • Complete and track all Broker Commissions.
  • Track independent spend.
  • FTF's & MCB's must be current at all times.
  • Maintain Vacation schedules, Rep Matrix, Territory Lists, CIL files.
  • Provide assistance to Territory Managers or Territory Associates.
  • Provide reception relief (lunch/break) or as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of four (4) years working in an administration role.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required. Computer skills in AS400 preferred.
  • High energy level, comfortable and ability to establish creditability and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
  • Excellent customer serviceoriented attitude with ability to get along with diverse personalities and communicate effectively with customers and all levels of Tree of Life associates. Must be tactful, mature and flexible with good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail so that workflow is managed efficiently and able to work independently of direct supervision.
  • Must be able to move/lift 20 pounds.
