- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for clients.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of pricing information and cost data.
- Collaborate with the project team to provide input on cost-effective solutions.
- Support the project management team during the pre-construction phase.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in construction costs.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of different construction materials and their costs.
