Mandate

  • We are looking for a client centric business development and relationship management professional with a proven track record of developing and nurturing strategic partnerships in a sales environment within the financial services industry. You are an excellent communicator, work well both individually and as a team and are aligned to our purpose; _to change lives by
    propelling more students to, and through, Post-Secondary Education successfully. You will be dedicated to business development activities that build our Assets under Management. Because of your experience with the BusinesstoBusiness model, you will be responsible to You are responsible to ensure a healthy and robust pipeline of referrals into the business and for growing our existing relationship with our key Referral Partner.

Challenges to be Met

  • Responsible for multiple territories across Canada, the incumbent will represent Knowledge First Financial and act as a key contact for select Partners at the regional and local level
  • Attend key business development events to propel the Knowledge First brand into the market, and identify and nurture existing partner relationships
  • Responsible to ensure a robust pipeline of potential business, while being held accountable for a minimum number of opportunities to be given to the Education Savings Centre
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations with Partners
  • Act as an ambassador of KFF within the partner networks, promoting our brand, products and services
  • Support Knowledge First's origination targets. Maintain and expand a database of prospects, teaming with partners to build the pipeline for the Education Savings Centre to engage with Customers and close deals,
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the firm by growing both our client base and assets under management.
  • Deliver a differentiated experience to our partners using a disciplined approach following Knowledge Firsts sales management process
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of the company, market conditions and leverage company advantages to build effective solutions.
  • Identification and development of potential client opportunities, collaborating with the Education Savings Centre to close deals.
  • Be knowledgeable and comply with the company and industry Code of Conduct
  • Contribute to operational improvements to streamline procedures/processes and enhance the client experience
  • Actively participate in the performance management process in support of own personal and professional development objectives, including coaching sessions
  • Contribute to a fair and positive working environment that supports a diverse workforce
  • Participate in team meetings, employee surveys and action planning sessions
  • Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the performance and completion of assigned duties
