    Description
    Position Summary


    This position is responsible for organizing and maintaining smooth warehouse operations: receiving stock, shipping out orders and transfers, and serving customers for pick up orders.

    As a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver you will be working with our logistics team and Third Party carriers to arrange deliveries.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities
    Prepare orders for our company trucks to deliver to customers or transfer between branches (pull materials, package and label appropriately, place orders in pick-up or shipping area as indicated on paperwork)
    Inspect incoming shipments for damage and follow company procedures when damaged goods arrive Maintain inventory levels
    Communicate with customers, branches and carriers when required to make shipping arrangements
    Make digital entries in truck scheduler and shipping manifest sheets
    Complete shipping logs and forklift safety
    Count inventory
    Maintain forklift in order, arrange repairs if required
    Ensure quality service by following company standards
    Maintain safe and clean work environment, comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
    Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.

    Qualifications
    3+ years' experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
    Experience operating forklift
    Strong attention to detail both written and spoken
    Experience with warehouse equipment
    Experience using POS system for payments
    Good computer skills
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    Experience shipping and receiving dangerous goods an asset

    Pay:
    $21.00-$23.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
