    Description

    About the role

    Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements.

    ·Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements.

    ·Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements.

    ·Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Principal Draftsperson, and communicating issues in a timely manner.

    ·Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards.

    About you:

    ·Advanced diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering technology

    · 5+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical design.

    ·Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must.

    ·Experience with precious metals

    ·Extensive experience with Autodesk Products, AutoCAD 2D and 3D and Plant3D.

    ·Smartplant experience an asset

    ·Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.

    ·The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
