    We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, results-driven Rooms Division Manager with excellent organizational skills. This leader is responsible for overseeing the entire operation of Front Desk, Night Audit, Hotel Accounting, and Reservation associates in order to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction; selecting, training and developing the hotel team; establishing and maintaining quality product and service levels while maximizing profits.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3+ years experience in a Front Office Leadership role
    • Passionate about the people and the product
    • Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop a team
    • Strong guest service orientation and training skills background
    • Highly motivated, organized, and results driven
    • Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional in presentation and demeanor
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office operations, policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of RoomMaster PMS a benefit but not a requirement
    • Knowledge of Revenue and Yield Management techniques a definite plus
    • Knowledge and understanding of iHotelier/ TravelClick booking engine and suites an advantage

    Front Office Manager

    SEARCHING FOR A FRONT OFFICE MANAGER REQUIRED FOR A BOUTIQUE RESORT HOTEL, RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE.

    PICTURESQUE SETTING ON OCEANFRONT WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS. LOCATED ONTHE SUNSHINE COAST.

    TheFront Office Manager is responsible for overall operations of the front officeensuring the highest possible levels of guest service is achieved and ensuringroom sales are met while providing hands-on leadership and trainingto front office team.

    The ideal Candidate is experienced in preparing annual room revenuebudgets, has a strong understanding of utilizing web-based social mediaplatforms for the purpose of onlinerooms sales and marketing. StrongLeadership qualities, team management skills, effective decision-makingabilities and able to direct the front office staff diplomatically. Must beable to develop an annual budget, track labour and related expenses, workclosely with the sales & marketing team.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience within a Front Office operation equal in size and services to that of a 50 room hotel.
    • Post Secondary education, preferably in Hospitality management and a commitment to continued education and development considered an asset.
    • Above average communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to motivate and lead employees in a busy, high quality environment.
    • Potential candidates will possess a thorough knowledge of Microsoft based software and have previous experience with hotel based systems. The ability to develop training guidelines applicable to Property Management Systems is a definite asset.
    • Any experience in social media and online booking agents a huge asset.
