Job Summary

We are currently looking for two students to join our Deer Creek Banquet Facility for the summer.

You will be working with our team to support the cleaning and set up of our golf and banquet facility.

We are looking for someone who holds themselves to superior standards regarding customer service, guest experience and providing exceptional quality of service.

Works well in a team environment
Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays. Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) availability is a must.
Day/Afternoon shifts until September 2023.

Responsibilities:

Make any setup changes the client requests the day of the event.
During events perform cleaning duties including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, sweeping and vacuuming floors, windows etc
Ensure all audiovisual equipment ordered by our clients are setup and monitored throughout the event.
Ensure proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers etc.
On weekends, setup and tear down the outdoor ceremony site.
On a continuous basis, keep service corridors, prefunction space, and storage areas clean, organized and unobstructed.
Recommend proper maintenance and repair to the management and ensure the proper housekeeping of all function space (as applicable).
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent people and communication skills. Must be proficient in English
Previous event/cleaning experience is an asset
Proven experience setting space in an event setting and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, work independently, manage time and work well under pressure
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (which may include an entire shift)
Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work a variety of schedules including daytime, evenings, nights and weekends
