Description
This Full-Cycle Payroll & Benefits Coordinator role will be based In-Office in Hamilton ON. Full time. We are looking for individuals who have independently managed hourly and salary payroll within the Industrial sector.

You will be accustomed to working independently, meeting strict deadlines as a single point of contact for all timesheet collection, payroll inputting, and benefit administration.

This role is salaried at $70K with benefits.

Responsibilities include:

Weekly

  • Prepare payroll for 2 companies, for 100 total employees, from manual and electronic timesheets
  • Allocate labour and equipment used track by job number and cost code in ERP system
  • Prepare source deduction remittances
  • Maintain a work schedule tracking current jobs of the field staff and what is upcoming
Monthly

  • Prepare EHT return and remittance
  • Prepare WSIB return and remittance
  • Maintain the vacation schedule and employee absence schedule
Annually

  • Prepare T4 slips and returns
  • Prepare EHT return
  • Prepare WSIB return

Benefit Administration:

  • Administer health and dental benefits (add new members, respond to questions)
  • Administer DPSP plan (add members, respond to questions)
  • Administer EFAP plan (employee and family assistance program)
  • Prepare records of employment
  • Coordinate WSIB claim, return to work, etc
  • Assist the health and safety manager as required
