    We are growing and looking to add a talented and dedicated Industrial Sewing Machine Operator.

    As the Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (ISMO), you will effectively and proficiently measure, cut and sew various types of materials following all applicable instructions, policies and procedures as provided by Ben-Mor Cables Inc.

    Team building activities;
    Operate industrial sewing machine to assemble textile-related products; Read and interpret work orders to ensure accuracy and quality of assembly; Inspect and maintain the industrial sewing machine daily as per the standard operating procedures (i.e., Accurately record the materials used, maintenance performed, and number of pieces completed during each shift, with focus on maintaining these metrics within production targets;

    Maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors by complying with the Company's safety standards, policies and procedures (i.e., report concerns/incidents, wearing personal protective equipment, good housekeeping of work area(s), etc.)

    ;
    Previous experience with sewing is considered an asset – personal or professional;
    Must have ability to regularly lift, lower, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs with rotation;
    Permanent, part-time position (3 days a week);
    Ability to lift, lower, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs with rotation is required.
