    The Opportunity:

    Gain valuable experience by working in a student engineering position at the Calgary Office for one of our Thermal or Conventional Exploitation/Production groups. You will have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects that develop your expertise and prepare you for full-time employment. You will develop skills and add value while also having the chance to meet other students and partake in initiatives such as the Student Social Committee

    • Term length: 4, 8, or 12 months
    • Term start: January, May, or September 2024
    • Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
    • Shift schedule: 5d2x/8 HR
    • Safety sensitive position: Yes

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Obtain baseline engineering experience and exposure in a wide variety of tasks while working with multidisciplinary teams in a fast paced environment
    • Participate in inactive/active well file reviews
    • Review completions, recompletions, well drilling, and historical information for understanding well performance
    • Perform optimization research for increased production
    • Provide technical support of data analysis and assistance for the preparation of various applications
    • Execute small projects related to production and exploitation
    • Research, recommend and evaluate completions/workovers to maximize the Company's oil production

    What You Bring to The Role:

    • Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4thyear of an engineering degree program. Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines preferred.
    • Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out of province license
    • Motivated, takes initiative, collaborative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
