    Operations Innovation is the team in the Innovation Gateway that works to support innovation initiatives in our existing assets.

    This role will be working on the Cenovus Upstream Thermal assets (FCCL, SR, Lloydminster) and our Well Delivery Teams (Completions, Drilling, ARO).

    This is an incredible opportunity to learn about innovation within Cenovus and the energy sector

    Assist in the planning and execution on various projects to support the work of Operations Innovation

    Collaborate with various partners including Major Projects and external vendors

    Apply process knowledge and engineering principles in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer

    Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)

    Experience with ParcView, Microsoft Office Suite, Aspen Hysys, Unisim or SAP would be considered an asset

    Comfortable with Microsoft Excel

    Must be enrolled in a Chemical/Process or Petroleum Engineering Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term

    New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.

    May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.

    Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.

    A valid Canadian class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions (i.e.,
