    Description

    Overlander Extended Care is looking for a Permanent Part-time Unit Clerk to join their team in Kamloops, British Columbia. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 14:00.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Prioritizing, processing, and transcribing physicians' orders
    • Acting as the communication hub for the Unit
    • Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
    • Maintaining patient charts and entering data into relevant systems
    • Performing various clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining records
    • Managing timekeeping records for staff
    • Relaying messages and responding to patient call signals

    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • A Typing Test with a minimum of 40 wpm from a recognized institution completed within the last 48 months
    • Certification as a Nursing Unit Clerk
    • Submission of your Resume and a Cover Letter indicating your availability to commence a new role
