    Description
    Responsibilities

    • Contributing to the daily operations of HR, GA, and Accounting functions.
    • Managing payroll processing, including tasks such as incorporating new hire details, retroactive adjustments, etc., on a monthly basis
    • Facilitating the recruitment process for all positions within the Vancouver office, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and negotiation of offers.
    • Assisting in the Onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees.
    • Maintaining knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Compiling and reporting HRrelated data to the Headquarters HR Team.
    • Acting as a liaison between the Headquarters and the Vancouver Team, including reporting current operational status, conducting monthly headcount/labor costs reports, and facilitating regular conference calls.
    • Assisting with adhoc projects and administrative duties as required, such as updating policies, providing visa support, etc.
    Requirements and skills

    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
    • Proven experience (2+ years) in human resources management, office management, general affairs, accounting, or a related field.
    • Experience in an R&D organization or Korean companies preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is highly desirable.
    • Since this position is based on our Vancouver office, candidates must possess a permanent resident permit or be legally authorized to work in Vancouver.
    $40,000 - $55,000 a year
