About The Role


A Service Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective implementation of technicians deployed to install and service our complete range of products supplied to our customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervises the activities of Service Technicians to fulfil sales, profit and company objectives
  • Attend regular onsite reviews of projects, site meetings, when requested supply technical or leadership guidance to Technicians
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs, resolves workrelated problems (field support) and recommends work measures to improve productivity
  • Responsible for the control of national client key records
  • Liaison between Sales and Technical staff while maintaining a strong "customer care" focus
  • Acts as a resource for project bids with Management and Sales
  • Responsible for developing inside sales quotations
  • Provides project management on all major installations
  • Prepares and submits progress and other reports to the Branch Manager
  • Assists Branch Manager with technical staffing, performance appraisals, training and development
  • Motivates and mentors all staff to encourage ongoing professional development
  • Develops and monitors service productivity, SLA's and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Continuously develop subcontractor relationships ensuring quality of work and competitive costs
  • Deliver bestinclass customer service to all accounts by providing new solutions that are applicable to client needs and add value
  • Stay up to date with external and internal developments within the industry
  • Identify new market segments and accounts which fit Gunnebo's regional customer profile leveraging existing relationships where possible
  • Develops and monitors service productivity, SLA's and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Oversee negotiating with vendors for project inventory and consumable materials
  • Be an escalation point for customer concerns and inquires
  • Maintain frequent contact with assigned key accounts and develop a strong understanding of their short, mid and longterm requirements to obtain their business objectives
  • Supports the Branch Manager with all elements of service and quoted work orders, including material procurement and/or cost control
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Must be located in Canada. We are unable to accept overseas applicants at this time.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Operations or Project Management experience within the Security Industry
  • Postsecondary education with the following experience;
  • Leadership and development of people
  • Sales support and managing client relationships
  • Scheduling and dispatching manpower resources
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple activities and initiatives simultaneously
  • Observant, accountable, and attentive to productivity and corporate profitability
  • Selfmotivated and calm under pressure with strong analytical and problems solving skills
  • Management experience is an asset
  • Experience in delivering highquality customer service to a broad range of customers
  • Strong computer skills working in MS Office
