About you:

We are looking for you The Virtual Care Assistant works closely with the referrals team to provide complete medical documentation support for patient records.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient flow, including patient intake, patient history and room preparation
- Provide patient follow up, education, bookings and referrals
- Assist with Care plan chart reviews, updating of Accuro, scheduling support and assisting with WebClinic approvals
- Provide exemplary care to patients, clinic staff, nurses and physicians over the phone and in person
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff according to policy and procedure
- Ongoing support for Nurse Practitioners as required
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with medical documentation or medical office assistant responsibilities
- Experience in a virtual administration role
- Excellent comprehension and communication in the English language both verbal and written
- Comfortable in a fastpaced, deadline driven virtual environment
- Experience with an EMR, Accuro and Netcare experience an asset
- Comfort and ease with technology platforms and use of Sharepoint & Adobe
- Strong attention to detail
- High rate of accuracy with data entry
