    Reporting to the Manager, Applications - Compression, the Applications Engineer is responsible for the front-end engineering, estimating, and technical support for the gas compression product line.

    Evaluate the design and performance for each compression opportunity; Assist in evaluation of opportunity risk and reward and assist in developing proposal strategies.



    • Conduct and/ or oversee the design, selection, and costing of equipment / units both internally and externally, (i.e., Ensure scope definition, technical / commercial accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of proposal submission.
    • Provide customer support to sales team via bid clarification meetings, pre-bid technical meetings, negotiation meetings, etc.
    • Ensure a smooth and efficient transition of information to Project's Department upon award.
    • Position may require some domestic travel.
    Recent graduates with a keen interest in the oil and gas industry are encouraged to apply. Prior exposure to compression equipment, particularly industrial rotary or compressors, is highly desirable.


    • Manufacturing and/or estimating experience is an asset
    • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship building skills
    • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
    • Proficient with MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to achieve excellent performance in individual and team environments
    • Ability to work remotely effectively and with limited supervision as needed
    • Demonstrated ability for on-time performance in a fast-paced work environment
