    Description

    Valuemed is a healthcare distribution company with a distribution centre currently located in Cambridge, Ontario. We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our dedicated team. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager who is located at our head office in Edmonton. The position's hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30 am- 3 pm, with the potential for additional hours in the future.

    Your duties include shipping, receiving, inventory counts, item put away, order picking and packing, and other related warehouse duties.

    • Must be fluent in English, have good vision, and be physically fit. You will be required to lift packages repetitively up to 50 lbs and will be on your feet walking and ladder climbing.
    • This is an energy position best suited to someone who can work with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive environment.
    • You will also be someone who understands the importance of attention to detail, process, quality, and operational standards.
    • Must have a willingness to work as part of an on-site or off-site team to Deliver Better Value to our Customers.
    • Must be willing to follow company policies and procedures.
    • Forklift certified and computer skills a must.
    • Experience of 3-5 years in a related work environment is required.
    • Employee must be bondable and will be subject to a criminal check.
